Meant to post this last year when ii received the go-ahead but wanted to wait for some kind of divine sign that ii wouldn't "f" it up before it got out of the gate (things have a way of not working out for me even though ii am positive that they will).
A book in which ii illustrated and wrote for children will be published later this year - HOPEFULLY!
Presently, working on re-designing the main character, location, and "voice" (the former is a recent addition to the "few" things ii have to change to make it publishable in the eyes of the book gods) ... but NO COMPLAINTS ... it IS a wonderful opportunity to have my book piublished (and a CALDECOTT and PULITZER are just around the corner ... and down the street ... and up the hill :-).
If interested, ii will post before/after/during pics of the process ... but please let me know for it is a time-comsuming endeavor and ii suck at (personal) time-management.
